In this week’s #HumanitarianHighlight, we thank all the credit unions that demonstrate their “commitment to the community” is at the heart of everything they do. These are just a few of the many credit unions that have impacted the communities in which they serve.
City & County Credit Union
City & County Credit Union teamed up with Tree Trust to nurture local greenery. They spent an afternoon mulching and watering trees. Their dedication to creating a greener, healthier community is truly inspiring. Great work, City & County Credit Union!
Granite State Credit Union
Granite State Credit Union staff enjoyed their time at the Richard D. Mahoney Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament. Held at Candia Woods Golf Links, this event benefited Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. Their participation showcased their support for children facing critical illnesses. Thank you, Granite State CU, for your commitment to the community!
Delta County Federal Credit Union
Delta County Federal Credit Union awarded two $1,000 academic scholarships to Cedaredge High School seniors. Barb Roth, CFO and Vice President presented the scholarships to Hadassah Payne and Alexandra Mannon. Their support empowers students to pursue their educational dreams.
Afena Federal Credit Union
Afena Federal Credit Union made a $1,500 donation to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society. This support helps the Humane Society purchase new kennels and continue their vital work. Their commitment to animal welfare spreads love and compassion in the community.
Credit Union of Texas
Credit Union of Texas hosted a wild adventure for Daniel Webster Elementary School students at the Dallas Zoo. The day was filled with curious critters and exciting raffle prizes. Their efforts brought smiles and unforgettable memories to young faces.
Community Financial Credit Union
Community Financial Credit Union volunteered to sort thousands of ‘2024 Smart Money Michigan Kids Read’ books. These books were distributed to over 170 public libraries and 36 Michigan credit unions. Their commitment to the community fosters a love for reading and learning.
