This week’s #HumanitarianHighlight is on credit unions sparking hope. These credit unions encourage the best out of the community and have shown a clear commitment to helping community events, children, and local organizations to be so much more.
OneAZ Credit Union
OneAZ Credit Union helped sponsor the Local First Arizona’s Good Business Summit. The event highlighted the impact of local businesses on the Arizona economy. Great work, OneAZ CU, for sparking hope in the community!
Credit Union of America
Credit Union of America participated in the Open Streets ICT event in Nomar. Open Streets ICT is a free community-building event that brings people of all ages and fitness levels together to promote active living. The streets were open for biking, walking, running, live music, dancing, entertainment, food, and art.
Tewksbury Federal Credit Union
Tewksbury Federal Credit Union volunteered to help build beds for A Bed for Every Child. The volunteers finished building ten beds for children in need. Amazing job, Tewksbury FCU, for sparking hope in the community!
Glacier Hills Credit Union
Glacier Hills Credit Union hosted their successful Camp SuperHero Hygiene Drive. They were able to collect 3,833 items to benefit the youth volunteers. Thank you, Glacier Hills CU staff and members, for contributing to a great cause!
LOCO Credit Union
LOCO Credit Union helped sponsor the 2024 Battalion Memorial Death March. The annual marathon honors a special group of World War II heroes. Thank you, LOCO CU, for honoring our troops.
Sabattus Regional Credit Union
Sabattus Regional Credit Union volunteered at the annual Financial Fitness Fair at Lewiston High School. They joined other credit unions to talk to students about budgets and expenses and give financial advice. The event was organized by the Maine Credit Union League.
