Humanitarian Highlight 6.06.24

This week’s #HumanitarianHighlight is on credit unions giving others a lift. Here are a few CUs volunteering, sponsoring community events, and donating to local causes.

Spectra Credit Union

Spectra Credit Union volunteered at Charles County Children’s Aid Society. They helped organize donations of essentials for struggling families. Great work, Spectra CU team, for giving others a lift.

Campus USA Credit Union

Campus USA Credit Union helped Habitat for Humanity with one of their new home build projects. Their central management team spent a day installing panels at the wall. The nonprofit organization seeks to build affordable housing in communities in need.

Mission Fed Credit Union

Mission Fed Credit Union was the title sponsor of the Mission Fed ArtWalk. The weekend event supported the more than 250 artists in downtown San Diego. Thank you, Mission Fed CU!

Susquehanna Valley Federal Credit Union

Susquehanna Valley Federal Credit Union donated $600 to Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties. DVSCP supports the empowerment of those who are experiencing domestic violence through the provision of direct services and the promotion of nonviolence through social and systems change. SVFCU employees will be dressing down every Friday this year in support of DVSCP.

Circle Federal Credit Union

Circle Federal Credit Union held a Shred Event at their Niles Branch. The free event is a way for the community to securely dispose sensitive documents. Thank you, Circle FCU!

Central State Credit Union

Central State Credit Union participated in the Western Farm Workers Association’s brunch and Easter egg hunt. The Easter celebration was filled with colorful of eggs, food, and smiles. Great job, Central State CU, for giving others a lift!
