From sponsoring events to volunteering, credit unions are supporting initiatives in the communities in which they serve. In this week’s #humanitarianhighlight, we follow credit unions that are contributing to local causes.
Grow Financial Federal Credit Union
Grow Financial Federal Credit Union sponsored the Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival. The event allowed the South Carolina community to enjoy the beauty of spring together. Thank you, Grow Financial FCU, for contributing to local causes.
Dakotaland Federal Credit Union
Dakotaland Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 to Leadership Aberdeen. The funds will go to the Baird Hill Park Project to assist in developing the park into a multi-use area for winter activities.
Directions Credit Union
Directions Credit Union volunteered at Children’s Hunger Alliance’s Weekend Meals distribution. Gorman-Rupp Pumps joined Directions CU’s Community Outreach team in distributing 600 food boxes to three Mansfield City schools.
Partner Colorado Credit Union
Partner Colorado Credit Union volunteered at the Colorado Pet Pantry. The organization has been feeding hungry dogs and cats for over a decade. Great work, Partner Colorado CU, for contributing to local causes!
Summit Credit Union
Summit Credit Union held a hybrid Taste of Reality Fair at Children & Families First. They presented lessons on making wise financial decisions and saving for the future.
Credit Union of Ohio
Credit Union of Ohio hosted a donation box for the Columbus Diaper Coalition. The non-profit provides diapers to families in need in Franklin County. The CU’s members and staff filled the donation box with diapers, swimmers, and baby wipes. Great job, Credit Union of Ohio, for contributing to local causes!
