Humanitarian Highlight 5.09.24

In this week’s #humanitarianhighlight, we observe credit unions making a positive impact in the communities in which they serve. From supporting parents to empowering arts in schools, these credit unions are helping those in need.

Clark County Credit Union

Clark County Credit Union Collected $1,200 and thousands of diapers and wipes to help babies and foster parents in Clark County. Great work, Clark County CU, for making a positive impact in your community!

Financial Plus Credit Union

Financial Plus Credit Union volunteered to do a park clean up at Eastside Park and Kiwanis Park. They spent a weekend raking leaves and cleaning out flower beds. Great job, Financial Plus team!

Extra Credit Union

Extra Credit Union helped sponsor the Romeo Schools Art Show at the Starkweather Arts Center. The CU presented a $500 check to the Starkweather Arts Center. The show will showcase artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade from seven Romeo schools.

Partners Federal Credit Union

Partners Federal Credit Union Participated in the Create Your Legacy: A Discussion on Investing in Your Financial Future event hosted by Wakanda@Disney. The event was filled with insightful conversations on financial literacy and ways to accomplish building wealth in the black communities.

Community Trust Credit Union

Community Trust Credit Union participated in this year’s Lake Villa St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The community cheered from Palombi Middle School to Lake Villa Train Station. Great job CTCU!

Hawaii State Federal Credit Union

Hawaii State Federal Credit Union hosted a booth at the Roosevelt HS JROTC Community Fair. Attendees had an amazing time enjoying the food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and community spirit. Thank you, Hawaii State FCU, for making a positive impact!
