Credit unions play an essential role in their communities, offering financial services to their members and supporting local initiatives. In this week’s #humanitarianhighlight, we observe credit unions sharing gifts from the heart.
Corry Federal Credit Union
Corry Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 to The Union City Future Farmers of America club through their annual Corry Federal Credit Union Core Values donation. Union City FFA plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of leaders in agriculture. Kara Miller, the CFCU employee of the year, nominated the Union City FFA.
Pen Air Credit Union
Pen Air Credit Union donated over $5,300 to the Santa Rosa Education Foundation. The funds were raised through the Pen Air Credit Union’s Share It program. Thank you for supporting Alabama, Santa Rosa County, Escambia County, and Baldwin County teachers.
Education First Credit Union
Education First Credit Union Donated $500 to Student Success Stores. The funds will help the organization provide winter clothes to students in Columbus. You can also contribute by visiting: studentsuccessstores.salsalabs.org/donation.
Pyramid Federal Credit Union
Pyramid Federal Credit Union Donated $1,000 to Miracle en el Barrio. The donation was made through the FCU’s Caring is in Our Jeans Community Outreach Program. Miracle en el Barrio provides toys to children in under-resourced communities in Arizona. Thank you, Pyramid FCU for sharing gifts from the heart with those less fortunate.
AEA Federal Credit Union
AEA Federal Credit Union helped support the Sgt. Michael Rudd Christmas Program. They were able to gather donations from businesses and other partners to help out 48 children: great work, AEAFCU, and the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office.
Allegacy Federal Credit Union
Allegacy Federal Credit Union hosted a credit and budgeting workshop with the Wake Forest Baseball team. They’re making sure students do not strike out from their financial education. Great work, Allegacy FCU!
