Humanitarian Highlight 10.30.25

Credit Unions are rooting for you and your community. From cheering at parades to gaming for good, they’re proving that local love still runs deep. Day after day, credit unions will continue to root for the communities they serve.

OUCU Financial

When OUCU Financial says they’re “part of your team,” they mean it! Their partnership with Ohio University’s Esports program connects students through technology, fun, and financial empowerment. Together, they’ve created an exciting space for students to game and learn about financial planning. OUCU’s Crazy Cats even took down the OU Bobcats in a friendly Twitch showdown! OUCU is rooting for every student to play hard and plan smart.

SRP Federal Credit Union

At SRP Federal Credit Union, giving back comes from the heart…literally. Teaming up with Shepeard Community Blood Center, SRP collected enough pints to save up to 111 lives! That’s 111 neighbors, friends, and loved ones who’ll get another chance because kindness flowed freely. SRPFCU is rooting for every heartbeat in their community.

Red River Credit Union

Red River Credit Union celebrated security and community pride with their Shred Day. Members showed up with boxes full of documents. Staff rolled up their sleeves to help protect their identities. Red River CU keeps rooting for safer, cleaner, and happier communities.

The Family Credit Union

The Family Credit Union brought superhero energy to the Beardstown Fall Fun Festival! Their float was full of color, cheer, and courage. The superhero-themed float won Best Business Float. TFCU reminded everyone that we’re all heroes when we lift each other. That’s Rooting for You in action!

Wildfire Credit Union

Wildfire Credit Union lit up the John Glenn High School Homecoming Parade with spirit and smiles. Staff and volunteers handed out candy, cheered for students, and joined in the community fun. Their joy was contagious as the Bobcats brought home a big win! Wildfire Credit Union roots for every student, every game, and every small-town moment that brings people closer together.

First Community Credit Union

First Community Credit Union ran with heart as the presenting sponsor of Project 16:49’s Race for a Place to Call Home. Their team joined the community to support unaccompanied homeless youth in Rock County. Each step they took symbolized the belief that everyone deserves a safe home. Thank you, First Community CU!
