Credit unions stand for action and heart. They sponsor events, support families, and inspire their neighbors. Arm to arm, they work side by side with the people they serve. These six stories show that when CUs stand arm to arm with their neighbors, communities grow stronger, happier, and more connected.
Connex Credit Union
Connex Credit Union partnered with Winning Ways to host a financial literacy workshop. The event helped participants from a reentry program open 14 new accounts. Connex CU gave people tools to build stable financial foundations. Arm to arm, they proved that financial education opens doors.
Ellafi Federal Credit Union
Ellafi Federal Credit Union joined Habitat for Humanity ReStore’s Power of a Pencil event. They helped collect school supplies and created a community art project with neighbors. Smiles and generosity filled the day. Ellafi CU’s caring work showed how arm to arm service can inspire creativity and prepare kids for school.
FourLeaf Federal Credit Union
FourLeaf Federal Credit Union spent a day lifting spirits at Pal-O-Mine Equestrian. Their team volunteered with an organization that helps veterans, trauma survivors, and people with special needs. The experience touched every heart involved. Amazing work, FourLeaf FCU!
Great Meadow Federal Credit Union
Great Meadow Federal Credit Union joined the Village of Granville’s Summer Concert Series. They sponsored live music at Veterans Memorial Park and encouraged neighbors to gather together. Families brought chairs, blankets, and friends for a night of joy. Great Meadow FCU proved that arm to arm connection can sound like summer joy.
Good Neighbors Credit Union
Good Neighbors Credit Union threw a Summer Celebration filled with fun for all ages. Families enjoyed games, food trucks, and kids’ activities. The free event celebrated members with gratitude and smiles. Thank you, Good Neighbors CU!

Island Federal supported the Butterfly Effect Project’s School Supply Drive. Their Riverhead branch collected donations to help students start the year strong. Every pencil and backpack made a difference. Island Federal’s commitment ensured that children entered classrooms with confidence.
