As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate the spirit of giving. Credit unions nationwide have gone above and beyond to bring joy and kindness to their communities. Their actions remind us of the power of generosity and the magic of helping others. We’re wrapping up the year by taking a moment to highlight six credit unions that made 2024 truly special.
Allegan Credit Union
Allegan Credit Union kicked off the holiday season with the Allegan Holiday Parade. The team joined the community for Festive Fridays, spreading cheer with local businesses. Their participation brought smiles, laughter, and a touch of holiday magic to everyone in town. Thank you, Allegan CU, for wrapping up the year so festively!
Zia Credit Union
Zia Credit Union rallied the community through their Chip In 4 Kids golf tournament. This annual event raised funds for the Zia Credit Union Education Foundation. The tournament united participants with the goal of empowering students and strengthening education.
Maui County Federal Credit Union
Maui County Federal Credit Union transformed their Holiday Fair into a celebration of giving. Local vendors offered unique gifts, while attendees donated food for the Maui Food Bank. The event brought people together to shop, share, and spread holiday cheer.
Texas Trust Credit Union
Texas Trust Credit Union faced off against Texas Health Hospital Mansfield in the Toys for Tots Shopping Showdown. Their team collected toys faster and brought home a well-earned victory. The showdown brought holiday joy to children in need, proving that teamwork spreads cheer.
Sky Federal Credit Union
Sky Federal Credit Union brightened the holidays with their Helping Hand Christmas Tree of Giving. Members and staff selected ornaments with gift requests and fulfilled holiday wishes for those in need. Chocolate Bayou Credit Union
Chocolate Bayou Credit Union participated in Alvin Independent School District’s Operation Backpack. Their team helped distribute over 4,000 backpacks to students preparing for the school year. Their efforts ensured children had the tools they needed to succeed and thrive.
