Humanitarian Highlight 7.20.23

Credit unions constantly demonstrate their appreciation for the neighborhoods in which they serve. In this week’s #humanitarianhighlight, credit unions are celebrating communities.

Allegiance Credit Union

Allegiance Credit Union donated $7,500 to Restore Farms. The funds will assist with maintenance costs and upgrading equipment—the first of several examples of credit unions celebrating communities.

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union participated in the Greenhalge Elementary School Block Party. The credit union team spent the day giving students prizes and financial wellness tips. Great work, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union!

Barksdale Federal Credit Union

Barksdale Federal Credit Union donated 102 bags of clothes to the Volunteers of America Homeless Program. Thank you BGCU team and their members for collecting clothing to help those in need.

Members First Credit Union

Members First Credit Union participated in Mid Michigan Community Action’s 19th Annual Fun Day. The Community event was filled with crafts, food, music, and fun resources. Thank you Members First Credit Union!

UFCU

UFCU volunteered at the Round Rock Serving Center and the Ride On Center for Kids. The team helped with sorting donations and gardening. Their humanitarianism is part of the credit union’s Summer of DO GOOD campaign.

Advia Credit Union

Advia Credit Union participated in the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade. The community spent the day with local organizations and honoring heroes. Great job Advia Credit Union!
