Humanitarian Highlight 7.6.23

Welcome to the season of generosity and community spirit! In this uplifting #HumanitarianHighlight, we thank the extraordinary efforts of credit unions as they embark on a Summer of Giving. Join us as we explore how these CUs are actively changing lives and creating a positive impact in the communities they serve.

The County Federal Credit Union

The County Federal Credit Union donated $50,000 to BigRock’s Capital Improvement Campaign. The campaign aims to upgrade facilities, securing BigRock’s status as a premier skiing destination for generations. We thank The County Federal Credit Union for their commitment to the communities they serve.

Hughes Federal Credit Union

Hughes Federal Credit Union goes above and beyond by integrating art and conservation. Their Little Prowler debit card program contributed $12,000 to the Tucson Wildlife Center. With each debit card issued, Hughes supports rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Thank you for helping preserve the region’s natural treasures.

TDECU, Houston’s largest credit union, gifted $20,000 to the United Way of Brazoria County (UWBC). This financial support strengthens UWBC’s initiatives in promoting financial literacy and tackling food insecurity for those in need. Thank you for your generosity in this year’s Summer of Giving!

Dakotaland Federal Credit Union
