Credit unions are often involved in volunteer work that aims to uplift the lives of people in their communities. In this #HumanitarianHighlight, we highlight the heartwarming humanitarian actions of six credit unions that are making a difference in their communities.
Nuvision Credit Union
Nuvision Alaska hosted a Business Appreciation Mixer that supported the Anchorage Cops for Community Clothesline Project. The project provides clothing for children in the Anchorage School District. The event successfully brought business members and community partners together for a great cause.
Advia Credit Union
Advia Credit Union visited Hunter Hospitality House to help with cleanup and maintenance efforts. Hunter Hospitality House provides a home away from home for those in need during medical emergencies. Thank you Advia Credit Union for uplifting lives in your community!
Marshall Community Credit Union
Marshall Community Credit Union volunteered in building an accessibility ramp during Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity Women Build Week. They completed the entire project in a day, leaving the homeowner with overflowing gratitude. Great work MCCU!
Provident Credit Union
Provident Credit Union partnered with Habitat for Humanity to support their affordable housing program, which helps families build or improve their homes. Credit union employees volunteered at their Esperanza Place development site. In the future, this location will be future home for 42 families.
White Sands Federal Credit Union
White Sands Federal Credit Union donated $1,000.00 to the New Mexico Agriculture in the Classroom Program. The program’s mission is to promote agricultural awareness and understanding in New Mexico. Thank you White Sands FCU for uplifting lives in your community!
HarborLight Credit Union
HarborLight Credit Union sponsored the Mariners White Lake Little League team this year. Their support encourages and uplifts the team, bringing a sense of community spirit and togetherness.
