As we welcome the season of spring, we are reminded of the importance of growth and renewal. Credit unions across the country are doing their part to help their communities grow by participating in humanitarian actions. In this week’s #HumanitarianHighlight we follow credit unions that are blooming with generosity.
Landmark Credit Union
Landmark Credit Union raised $59,644.25 for Children’s Wisconsin through their Chain of Hearts campaign. Children’s Wisconsin provides primary care, specialty care, urgent care, emergency care, community health services, foster and adoption services, child and family counseling, child advocacy services and family resource centers. Clearview Federal Credit Union
Clearview Federal Credit Union donated $13,000 to Light of Life Rescue Mission through their Turnovers for Charity program. They pledged to donate $500 for every turnover made by the defense during the Black and Gold football season. The nonprofit organization, Light of Life, helps men, women, and families facing homelessness, poverty, or addiction.
Sabine Federal Credit Union
Sabine Federal Credit Union participated in the 28th Annual Community Trash Off. The credit union showed their support by providing refreshments and giveaways to volunteers who participated in the cleanup event. The event was hosted by Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in collaboration with the City of Orange. Great work Sabine Federal Credit Union!
General Electric Credit Union

Diamond North Credit Union gifted $5,000 to the Rose Garden Hospice Association Inc. Their donation will enable the hospice to continue providing excellent care to those who need it most. Thank you Diamond North Credit Union!
Summit Federal Credit Union
The Summit Federal Credit Union made a generous donation of $250 to the K9 Unit, which will enable the division to purchase necessary equipment to keep the streets of Syracuse safe. The credit union expressed their gratitude towards the K9 division for their tireless work in ensuring public safety and thanked them for their service.
