Granting Joy

Hello everyone, happy Thursday, and welcome back to an all-new Humanitarian Highlight! This week’s #HumanitarianHighlight spotlights credit unions granting joy in the communities they serve.

Mobiloil Credit Union

Mobiloil Credit Union donated $196,400 to Dayton High School. The funds will be used to purchase a digital scoreboard, a scorekeeper’s table, and a digital screen. Great work Mobiloil Credit Union!

Wauna Credit Union

Wauna Credit Union gifted $23,522.47 to the Michelle’s Love organization. This funding will help the organization support single parents undergoing cancer treatment.

People’s Credit Union

People’s Credit Union donated $10,000 to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Newport. The funds were raised through the credit union’s Fill It Forward campaign. The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center provides nutritional, educational, social, and referral services.

Associated Credit Union Of Texas

Associated Credit Union Of Texas donated $7,787.40 to Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation. The grant will be used to acquire resources and to fund classroom grants. Thank you Associated Credit Union Of Texas!

Visions Federal Credit Union

Visions presented a $5,000 grant to Cortland Chenango Rural Services, Inc. An emergency generator was purchased with the help of the grant.

Mazuma Credit Union

Mazuma Credit Union awarded reStart Inc. with a Mazuma Foundation Grant of $5,100. The reStart Inc. is a nonprofit that provides housing and supportive services to homeless children. Great job Mazuma Credit Union!
