Financing a Brighter Tomorrow

This week’s #HumanitarianHighlight is on CUs financing a brighter tomorrow. Here are a few credit unions providing aid through donations, grants, and fundraisers.

First Community Credit Union

First Community Credit Union is helping finance a brighter tomorrow by raising $5,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The donation will fund healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, charitable care, and critical treatments.

Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union donated $25,000 to the Capital Campaign for the North Star Family Services, Inc. Journey Home Housing Project. The project supports low-income families in North Central Massachusetts. Great job Leominster Credit Union!

Capital Credit Union

Capital Credit Union presented the Civic Symphony of Green Bay with a $7,030 donation through their game day parking fundraiser. Thank you Capital Credit Union for financing a brighter tomorrow!

First Source Federal Credit Union

First Source Federal Credit Union gifted $5,000 to Mohawk Valley Community College Foundation, Inc. to help the college’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy program. The after-school program helps students build an understanding of how to start and run their own businesses.

Suffolk Federal Credit Union

Suffolk Federal Credit partnered with the Community Ambulance Company and other organizations to help provide 200 free turkeys to military and veteran families.  The Community Ambulance Company will be handing out free 10-14 pound turkeys on November 19th.

Class Act Federal Credit Union

Class Act Federal Credit Union awarded Price Elementary with a Heroes of Education Grant for $7,500.  The funds will be used to provide aid to the classrooms, teachers, and students. Thank you Class Act Federal Credit Union!
