It’s Thursday, and we have put together another #HumanitarianHighlight, featuring CUs funding the future with their donations, grants, and fundraising campaigns.
Granite Credit Union
Granite Credit Union awarded $20,000 in scholarships through their annual Lynn Kuehne scholarship. The four scholarship recipients were chosen for their passion to further their education. Great job Granite Credit Union!
Leaders Credit Union
Leaders Credit Union awarded $20,000 in grants to teachers in West Tennessee. The credit union is on a mission to invest in local education through grants, scholarships, and financial literacy resources.
Copper State Credit Union
Copper State Credit Union donated $15,000 to Arizona Helping Hands, a Phoenix-based nonprofit organization that provides support to foster families. Thank you, Copper State Credit Union!
BayPort Credit Union
Bayport Credit Union donated $10,000 to the Salvation Army Florida to support its hurricane relief fund. The contribution will provide assistance to survivors and first responders.
DuPont Community Credit Union
DuPont Community Credit Union raised $10,125 for local Habitat for Humanity affiliates through their Virtual 5K/10K event. The running event was successful with nearly 300 participants.
Freedom Credit Union
Freedom Credit Union raised $4,100 for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and 930 pounds of food for the Gray House as part of its year–long 100th-anniversary celebration. The credit union was collecting food and monetary donations for 100 days. Great job Freedom Credit Union!
