Hello everyone, happy Thursday, and welcome back to an all-new Humanitarian Highlight! This week’s #HumanitarianHighlight is on CUs constructing brighter communities.
NorthCountry Federal Credit Union
NorthCountry Federal Credit Union awarded $15,000 to Lamoille Housing Partnership in support of solar-powered affordable housing. The funds will help improve the quality of life for future residents of Hardwick’s Village Center Apartments. Thank you, NorthCountry Federal Credit Union!
Land of Lincoln Credit Union
Land of Lincoln Credit Union donated $10,000 to Decatur Show Choir Complex. The gifted sum will be used to award participation scholarships to three students.
Pathways Financial Credit Union
Pathways Financial Credit Union gifted $5,000 to Heinzerling Community in Columbus. The monetary gift will be used to purchase outdoor wheelchair-accessible water and sand sensory tables. Pathways FCU is constructing brighter communities by supporting accessible design.
American Heritage Credit Union
AHCU donated over 7,000 books to local organizations as part of their 13th Annual Books for Kids program. The books were distributed to hospitals, community centers, and special care facilities throughout the Philadelphia region.
Five County Credit Union
Five County Credit Union raised over $2,500 for Maine Wildlife Transport. The contribution will help the organization with its mission of transporting ill, injured, or orphaned wildlife to safety.
Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union
Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union raised $9,500 in support of Riding Associates and The Shepherd’s Shelf. Sebastian Riding Associates provides therapy programs and The Shepherd’s Shelf is an emergency food pantry.
