Humanitarian Highlight 09.15.22
It’s Thursday, and we have put together another #HumanitarianHighlight, this time showing the CU Way of people helping people.
TruMark Financial Credit Union
TruMark Financial Credit Union donated $7,500 to the Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels, a non-profit organization that helps feed those challenged by illness, disability, or age. The funds will be used to subsidize the cost of meals. Great job, TruMark Financial Credit Union!
Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union
Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union raised $3,492.03 for the Greenville March for Babies. The event was created by the March of Dimes organization to help raise money for mothers to gain access to care.
Raiz Federal Credit Union
Raiz Federal Credit Union donated $1,120 to the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence (CASFV) to be used to support children’s services. The CASFV is a non-profit organization that helps people cope with trauma caused by domestic violence and sexual assault. Thank you, Raiz Federal Credit Union!
Pioneer Federal Credit Union
Pioneer Federal Credit Union gifted $1,000 to the Sawtooth Botanical Garden, a place that builds community through the understanding and exploration of plants. The garden spreads its message to celebrate plants and inspire people by holding classes and events.
Elevate Credit Union
Elevate Credit Union raised $1,000 and school supplies for United Way’s “Stuff the Bus” campaign. The event helps provide necessary supplies for the school year to local students and teachers in need.
Keesler Federal Credit Union
Keesler Federal Credit Union partnered with Northshore Humane Society for their week-long “Clear the Shelters” event. The event was able to adopt out nearly 50 dogs and cats. Great job Keesler Federal Credit Union!
