Humanitarian Highlight 5.25.23

This week’s Humanitarian Highlight is on credit unions that are giving back to society. These credit unions have shown a clear commitment to helping people, animals, and organizations to be so much more.

5Point Credit Union

5Point Credit Union participated in American Cancer Society’s The Greater Golden Triangle Relay for Life. They also donated a total of $123,169.93 to the organization. 5Point Credit Union is great example of a credit union giving back to society.

California Coast Credit Union

San Diego Humane Society received the support of California Coast Credit Union during the Walk for Animals event. The credit union’s team enjoyed spending a morning outdoors, surrounded by adorable pups. Thank you California Coast Credit Union for helping save animals that need a second chance.

Tinker Federal Credit Union

Tinker Federal Credit Union cheered on participants at the OKC Memorial Marathon. The community-driven event is a fundraiser for the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. It’s great to see credit unions participating in events that contribute to important causes.

Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union gifted $1,000 to the Abby’s House in Worcester for their Annual Spring-Tacular Event. The event helps support women and children in need. Thank you Leominster for giving back to society.

Sooper Credit Union

Sooper Credit Union supported Kenzi’s Causes by providing underprivileged children with brand new backpacks for the Packz 4 Kidz program. They are making a difference by giving children the supplies they need to be prepared for school.

Picatinny Federal Credit Union

Picatinny Federal Credit Union’s team supported Interfaith Food Pantry at their Free Farmers Market. They helped sort, package, and distribute produce to their Morris County neighbors. Thank you Picatinny Federal Credit Union!
