Humanitarian Highlight 4.20.23
In this week’s #HumanitarianHighlight, we spotlight credit unions that presented gifts to the community. We want to thank all the credit unions below for volunteering, donating, and offering other forms of assistance in the neighborhoods they serve.
AEA Federal Credit Union
The AEA Federal Credit Union team demonstrated their commitment to keeping their community clean by going for a walk at Somerton’s walking park. They picked up trash and ensured that the park was in pristine condition. Thank you AEA Federal Credit Union for investing in the well-being of the community.
Cooperative Teachers Credit Union
Cooperative Teachers Credit Union presented a $34,500 donation to Tyler ISD. Their gift shows the credit union’s support to the district’s teachers, students, and staff. Great work Cooperative Teachers Credit Union!
Russell Country Federal Credit Union
Russell Country Federal Credit Union gifted a $4,822 donation to Alliance for Youth. The funds were raised through a silent auction and fundraising activities during their Staff and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. The credit union acknowledged the organization’s efforts to support the youth in the community.
Canopy Credit Union
Canopy Credit Union is a premier sponsor of the Little Libraries, Big Stories project. The Little Libraries project consists of artistic book shelfs that are crafted to raise awareness and funding for underserved areas. Three little libraries were created by local artist and carpenters can be seen at Canopy Credit Union’s branches. The libraries are great gifts to the community.
Members 1st Federal Credit Union
Members 1st Federal Credit Union donated over $24,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network. They raised the funds through their Humming Bird Campaign. Thank you Members 1st Federal Credit Union!
North Star Community Credit Union
North Star Community Credit Union gifted a donation to the Little Bobcats Daycare Center. Their gift will be used for their outdoor play area development project. Thank you North Star Community Credit Union for your dedication to the well-being of children in their communities.
